well more like, its a fresh breeze of an old smell.yeah that smell, that old persons house smell
but its a metaphor. don't take it seriously
im captivated by old musicians somehow. they have that style of "old" cool
just think of it this way. they are weird now. but back then
back when they still had their fame, they were the cool ones. not the ones you worship now
i guess its a cycle. everything gets a chance to be on top
but if you're on the top. there's nowhere to go except down mofo
but the old guys. they new the cycle. they started it actually.
they respected other musicians.
everyone wants to be famous now.
there's too many poser musicians its polluting the industry
take example old hip hop
not people repeating sentences about degrading girls, getting down in a club, and yelling "skeet skeet"
real hip hop
real rap
im not the right person to write about hip hop
i dont know the history
but all i know is they're better than whats on tv now
they did something culture changing
what the hell is all this new hip hop man i hate it. i dont wanna hear about some mexican guy in a club. i dont wanna hear about strippers hanging in tha club. what the hell is that? old hip hop was defendable. it was still art.
just put a couple on the list
-Tupac
-Biggie Smalls
-Grandmaster Flash
-Run DMC
if you dont know search them. they're gods
they did the whole street thing
they did the whole rise to the top thing
but look.. old rappers they love the street.
they dont flash their bling.
they dont love the money.
old rappers are humble
man where did all the good music go?
