Saturday

I found a new sound.

Don't you love it when you found a band that no ones around you knows of. It feels like finding hidden treasure or finding candy on the floor but it was still clean, just makes you wanna scream "hell yeah!" when you do. But maybe its my dangerous urge to be different, maybe its just me.
I don't hate bands that lots of people like. Their music is good, but its their fans that ruin it. Its like when MJ died (god bless his soul). Everybody somehow went crazy for him again, after all the accusations. People changed 180 degrees in an attempt to follow up the latest trends. hypocrites.
The point is, im happy i found music in its pure form.
Without the big labels. Without the die-hard fans

Some of you may see them from Nick And Norah's infinite playlist.
A film i just watched as recommended by my girlfriend. At first i thought it was silly and boring. Like one of those uninteresting teen drama's. But good movie it turned out to be, not your usually teen bullshit. But most importantly i fell in love with the soundtrack. It was beautiful. It was the American counterpart of Indonesia's Janji Joni soundtrack. So
they're the band that played right after michael cera's gig. i heard they're sound and i was wow'ed ( i bet wow'ed isnt even a word, but it should be). if i had the of the scene ill show you but im too lazy to find it. But the band is

Bishop Allen

they are amazing, very amazing actually.

So they're this indie rock band from brooklyn, NYC. (nothing bad ever came out of NYC i think) They're music is peaceful but also cheery, something like Vampire Weekend. Apparently they already have a lot of EP's but its hard for me to find em all. You should see for yourself what im talking about. They are awfully good.
